Registration is now open for the 2020 SkillsUSA Manufacturing Assembler State Competition, which will be held from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, February 29 at the Boeing plant in Everett. Schools are invited to bring up to three participants each. The competition will include a hands-on project based on the knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs) included in units 1-10 of the Core Plus Aerospace curriculum. The KSAs are also included in the Skills Inc CTE project #3. Students will also compete in a resume review and mock interview with industry professionals. Materials and tools needed for the competition will be provided, as will breakfast and lunch. Information regarding options for hotel accommodations will be included in the registration packet.
