I’m excited by the hands-on nature of the curriculum as well as the real-world skills and post-high school opportunities it delivers. Core Plus Aerospace has demonstrated success preparing Washington high school students for high-demand manufacturing jobs as well as industry apprenticeships and college programs. There are nearly 300,000 manufacturing jobs in Washington today. Many of those workers are ready to retire and the door is open to the next generation. Let’s make sure more of our kids are ready to walk through that door if they choose. Now is the time to expand Core Plus Aerospace in our district.
