WASHINGTON STATE STEM SIGNING DAY
Washington STEM and The Boeing Company are looking for outstanding high school seniors from across Washington state to join them for the 2nd Annual Washington State STEM Signing Day. The event will be held in Olympia on Friday, April 12, 2019. Washington high school seniors who plan to pursue a postsecondary program or career in STEM (which no doubt includes many Core Plus Aerospace seniors) are eligible and encouraged to apply. #PLANYOURPATHWA STUDENT VIDEO CONTEST
Calling all WA public high school students!
The Ready Washington coalition launched its fourth annual student voices contest last week, encouraging students to talk about their plans after high school. The title of this year’s contest is
#PlanYourPathWA: What are your education and career dreams, and how are you going to get there? The contest – open to Washington public high school students – will award
five students with $500 scholarships. Winning students will also get to nominate a teacher who has supported them on their path to receive a
$100 Visa gift card. Please encourage students to apply and direct them to
planyourpathwa.com. The deadline to enter is Friday, March 8.
