For students graduating high school and ready to turn their hands-on skills into a high-demand career, the Boeing Pre-Employment Training Program (BPET) is a powerful next step. In 2025, more than 250 people were hired through BPET.

BPET offers an accelerated hiring process for graduates of pre-certified academic manufacturing programs. Qualifying candidates applying for select, entry-level manufacturing roles at Boeing can skip the traditional interview process and move directly to the job offer stage.

“Teachers from Core Plus Aerospace and aligned hands-on programs across the state, are preparing students with the skills Boeing employees use every day,” said Essentia Rivera, Senior Manager, Workforce Development at Boeing Commercial Airplanes. “Students from these programs learn in-demand skills that will give them an advantage when applying for jobs at Boeing.”

BPET is already jump-starting the careers of Core Plus Aerospace students and those in aligned hands-on programs at high schools, skills centers, and community and technical colleges. Since 2023, more than 500 people have been offered full-time jobs at Boeing through BPET.

“The work I do at Boeing as an In-Tank Mechanic there’s nothing like it,” said Markus Volkovskiy a Core Plus Aerospace graduate from Hazen High School in the Renton School District and a participant in in the 2024 summer Student Development Program. “Take advantage of BPET because it will set you up for success.”[JM1.1]

Anthony Roach, a graduate of Pierce County Skills Center, was originally hired as an In-Tank Mechanic through BPET and is now working as a Strategic Support Rework Mechanic. His career goal is to be an Aircraft-on-Ground mechanic.

“The opportunities and auto shop class at Pierce County Skills Center provided me with strong mechanical skills to get hired through BPET after graduation,” Anthony said. “I had a straight path to a solid career.”

Kohl Williams, a Core Plus Aerospace graduate from Sumner High School, accepted a job offer through BPET as an Aircraft Structures Mechanic. He fulfilled a career goal and continued his family legacy at Boeing.

“What excites me about my future is the potential you have in manufacturing,” Kohl said. “I can move up and enjoy my job. I’m a fourth generation Boeing employee. It’s all because of Core Plus Aerospace and BPET.”

BPET is a bridge between education to career. If you’re a Core Plus Aerospace student or enrolled in an aligned program, now is the time to explore this opportunity. Learn more at https://jobs.boeing.com/bpet
